VIDEO - Fixing an elastic waistband
Hey hey Reader!
It's video tutorial day, and today I'm sharing the process I used to partially unpick a serged / overlocked waistband before reattaching. I made some Trigg shorts for my other half a few months back and the cotton fabric loosened up so much that they couldn't 'stay up' and I needed to go in and fix them.
This is for anyone nervous of using / unpicking overlocking stitches - it's not as hard as you'd think - and although the final result wasn't perfect, it was good enough for my other half. And as I often say, done can be better than perfect!

Afternoon Reader! It's Sunday, which would usually be 'vlog day' but having spent time this week reviewing stats, it looks like most peeps aren't that interested in my vlog style content... so today I've put that aside and instead I'm teaching you how to draft a kimono sleeve pattern - sort of! 😉 The reason I say sort of is that the kimono sleeve isn't a "sleeve" pattern, it actually incorporates the bodice front and back too, so you'll learn which pattern blocks you need, and how to develop...
